Crazy, you might say! Impossible, you might think! But if you need to understand the mile and the meter to measure distances, and if you need to understand the Celsius, Fahrenheit, Kelvin, etc. degrees to measure heat, and if you need  to understand the lbs. kg. gr. oz. etc. to measure mass than why is it so amazing to think and difficult to accept that you need faith to measure and understand God and Jesus, and the Holy Spirit and everything that is spiritual? The microscope reveals only the different cells of our brain but it will never reveal our beliefs, our thoughts and our character even though the very same brain cells produce our thoughts and our feelings. In the same way as the microscope only has the power to reveal physical particles of God's creation it will never be able to reveal God Himself. For a believer who prayed for safety the fact that his rental car with only 30K miles breaks down temporarily (true fact that happened Feb19th) is a clear indication of God's intervention to keep him safe and yet for the unbeliever the same event is just a coincidence. Let's say that by scientific observation the causes of the temporary breakdown could be detected and explained. Would that change anything? Would that also change the fact that a prayer for safety was raised toward God?

Discovery Channel is trying to prove that Moses crossed the Red Sea on dry ground because of a coincidence. Multiple natural phenomena took place at the same time with Moses' intention of crossing the Red Sea. So what? Does the existence of those natural phenomena at the exact time Moses and the people of Israel arrived at the edge of the Red Sea disprove God's involvement? For those who reason in faith it is all the more evidence of God's involvement. 

Are the Bible and Science at odds with each other? I am no expert but I doubt it. Religious people and Scientists are at odds with each other, not the Bible and Science. "Science is just too young to understand." and most religious traditions are too old to honestly look for the truth. The Bible is the spiritual microscope through which the thoughts, the feelings and the character, invisible to the physical microscope, are explained.
